It's no secret that Brett Eldredge and his dog, Edgar Boogie, are best friends and partners in crime, but is a relationship really official until you've made a music video about it? Press play above to watch Eldredge's homage to Edgar, set to the tune of his feel-good track, "Love Someone."

The video features too-cute footage of Eldredge and Edgar spending time together at the park, sharing a lavish steak dinner and cuddling up together on the couch. In a later scene, Edgar's hijinks at the dog park end up tangling his leash with a golden retriever's. As Eldredge sorts out the mishap, he locks eyes with the woman holding the other dog's leash, proving that a pup can be not only man's best friend, but the ultimate wingman.

However, it seems unlikely that any human romance can get in the way of Eldredge's love for his dog anytime soon. The video ends with Eldredge and Edgar reclining against the country star's motorcycle together, howling at the mountainous landscape in the background.

Eldredge adopted Edgar, a Weimaraner/Vizsla mix, in the summer of 2016, and the pair have been inseparable ever since. Edgar has made appearances on tour, at fan events and interviews, and it isn't the pup's first time being serenaded by his country star dad on camera.

When he isn't playing with his four-legged BFF, Eldredge has been hard at work in the country music world. He recently appeared in an episode of CMT Crossroads alongside pop star Meghan Trainor, during which the pair duetted for Trainor's "Let You Be Right" and the iconic Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton classic, "Islands in the Stream," among other songs.
