Each Friday at 3:30pm, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy!

Tucker Beathard comes by his songwriting skills and country roots honestly, as the son of Casey Beathard, who has written hit songs for Eric Church, Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins and many others over the past decade and a half. In fact, Homeboy by Eric Church is said to be inspired by Tucker. Taking influence from Led Zeppelin, Bob Seger, Joe Walsh, Hank Williams Jr. and of course his own dad, Tucker has channeled his teenage rebellion into a solid career that has included opening for Chase Rice, and now heading to Europe with Dierks Bentley. Beathard will open for Bentley at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield on August 16th. For more about Tucker Beathard, head on over to his website! You can get his single, "Rock On" at both Amazon and iTunes.
