Each Friday at 9:30am, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy, home of the hassle free guarantee.

Rachel Wammack grew up in a musical family down in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. The piano was always being played in her home, so she started playing at the young age of six, sparking a lifelong love of music. From there she developed her skills as both a musician and songwriter, all while attending the University of North Alabama before moving to Nashville to pursue her music career. Counting a wide range of artists as influences, from Eric Church to Katy Perry, and as a pianist herself, of course Billy Joel, Ray Charles and Elton John her sound and songwriting is entirely her won creation. For more about Rachel Wammack, visit her website. Her debut self-titled EP, which she released back in April, and features her debut single "Damage" can be found on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
