Each Friday at 9:30am, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy.

Growing up in Central California, Natalie Alexander was surrounded by music. Her mother was a singer, and her brother had a rock band. All of this fostered a love of singing and performing, but it didn't hit in full until a high school talent show performance her Junior year. Citing two of the 2000s biggest female country artists, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, as her influences, Natalie has since pursued and captured her dream, with the release of her debut EP, Cruel, featuring her debut single "I Don't Want to Catch My Breath." For more about Natalie Alexander, visit her website here. Her EP Cruel is available on iTunes.
