Each Friday at 9:30am, KICK-FM will feature an artist on the rise during the Breakthrough Artist of the Week, brought to you by Glass One Quincy, home of the hassle free guarantee.

Joe Lasher grew up in the Great Smokey Mountain region of Western North Carolina, jamming to the tunes of Tim McGraw and fellow North Carolinian Eric Church. Pulling on these influences, Lasher embarked on his own country career, playing clubs and shows throughout the region, quite possibly crossing paths with Luke Combs, as he also hails from Asheville. After heading to Nashville, he was put to work cutting a song written by Michael Ray, and working with writer/producers Chris Stevens and Jeremy Stover, leading to his debut single, Nothing Better To Do Friday Nights." For more about Joe Lasher, head to his website. His music is available on iTunes.
