Boondocks in Springfield to Host Joe Diffie Concert

Boondocks in Springfield, Illinois has become a great regional venue for country music fans. Kellie Pickler, Terri Clark, Chris Cagle, and Phil Vassar have all recently made appearances in the state capital at Boondocks. Joe Diffie will be the next country star to appear at the club, with a concert on February 21.

Tickets to the show are $20, it will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, February 21. Boondocks is open only to those 21 and older.

Diffie has charted over 20 Top 10 singles in his career, including Number 1 hits like 'Pickup Man,' 'Bigger Than the Beatles' and 'Third Rock From the Son.' To date, Diffie has released 13 albums and has also found success as a songwriter, penning hits for artists such as Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty, and Jo Dee Messina. Jason Aldean paid tirbute to Diffie in his hit song '1994,' which incorporated lyrics from several Joe Diffie songs.
