If you're excited about the fourth season of 'The Voice,' then we have some good news for you: Blake Shelton has picked his mentor for the show next season -- the one and only Sheryl Crow. Now, that's a pair to sing about!

MJS Big Blog reports that the 'If It Makes You Happy' singer-songwriter will join Shelton on the televised vocal competition series, which returns for a new season in March. Crow states, “I’ve been friends with Blake for a few years now and am honored he invited me to be an adviser on 'The Voice' this season.” We're pretty pleased that she comes to the show with a depth of experience, both in Grammy-winning and as a mentor on 'American Idol' in 2011.

Shelton is looking forward to his newest mentor, saying, “Sheryl Crow is one of the coolest people in the music industry and to have her as an adviser on my team is pretty darn cool.” If it makes him happy, then it is bound to be a great fourth season of competition. Shelton has had a long list of successful mentors on 'The Voice,' including Kelly Clarkson, Reba McEntire, his sweet and successful wife Miranda Lambert, and now Sheryl Crow.

Be sure to tune in for this spring for your fill of Shelton on the big screen before he heads out on his Ten Times Crazier Tour this summer, and catch Crow when she performs her new single, 'Easy,' at WYRK's Taste of Country show in Buffalo in June.
