Billy Gilman once again showcased his powerful pipes Monday night (Nov. 28) on The Voice. The singer, who grew to popularity in the country genre as an 11-year-old with "One Voice," showed his deep roots for the genre with a spellbinding cover of Martina McBride's "Anyway."

For three minutes, Gilman captivated The Voice audience with the heartwarming song alongside string accompaniment. While the music impressed, it never took away from Gilman's breathtaking vocals and powerful vocal power. Gilman didn't just landed on a note, but let each soar, showcasing his staying power on the reality singing competition.

Throughout his performance, coach Adam Levine looked mesmerized as he nodded in approval. Miley Cyrus also shared her fascination with the singer. After Gilman's performance, she remarked that his accompaniment was “so beautiful, and it just heightened what you already are.”

Later, Levine gushed about his contestant, saying, “Everyone knows you can sing, they know your story, but, man, I just can’t explain to everybody how special what we’ve just heard is. I’m blown away, man. I’m amazed by you."

Gilman is currently in the Top 10 on The Voice. Fans can vote and download “Anyway” on iTunes in order to keep him in the Top 8 before eliminations on Tuesday night (Nov. 29).

The singer is gracing The Voice stage now, but he saw early success as a young child. Best-known for his 2000 hit “One Voice,” which made him the youngest country artist to earn a Top 40 hit, Gilman struggled finding commercial success with subsequent releases.
