Backwoods Shenanigans Carnival Coming to Kahoka, Missouri

The first annual Backwoods Shenanigans Carnival will be taking place at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Kahoka, Missouri on June 6, 2015.

Games, food, vendors, and other activities will keep the whole family entertained from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Then at 5:00 p.m. the live music gets underway with Soul Crush, Common Bond and Rise Above all playing. The admission price to hear the bands is $8.

Activities throughout the day will include;

Greased Pig Contest
Pie Eating Contest
Horseshoes
Sack Races
Edible Sand Art
Bounce House
Cake Walk
Dunk Tank
Raffle
Petting Zoo Provided by the Animal House
Pony Rides
Ball Pit
Candy Corner

There will also be over 20 carnival games including duck pond, card ninja, ring toss, balloon darts, and dime toss. Over 30 different craft and merchandise vendors will be on hand, including including Avon, Pink Zebra, Scentsy, Young Living Essential Oils, Paca’s Patch Work, Watkins Dealer and many more.

Food will be provided by Dottie’s Funnel Cakes, Longhorn Grill, Big O’s BBQ, Sweet Dreams Bakery, and other foods will also be available.

All Proceeds from the event will go to Industrial Opportunities, a sheltered workshop to help adults with mental and physical disabilities. All money raised will stay in the community.
