Born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri...I stopped maturing at age 12 and I have the radio show to prove it. Authorities found me at age 19 in a corner talking to myself...so they decided to give me a pair of headphones, a microphone and a brand new room (with padded walls) for me to talk to myself in...and they called it radio...and that brings us to today. I have been torturing (I mean "entertaining") listeners for 29 years and have been fortunate to win many Missouri Broadcaster awards along the way...which just proves how much everyone else sucks. Truth is I have the best radio listeners in the world who treat me better than any human being could possibly deserve. And that special relationship we have will continue...at least until K-Mart starts hiring again.

What Vehicle Did You Learn To Drive In?
One of the friends of my radio show (Chris Prewitt) and I were having a discussion this morning and somehow we got on the subject of what we learned to drive in. For me, it was a 70's era El Camino. My dad took me out in the middle of a corn field and turned me loose with only Freddy Fender 8-tracks to keep me company. Many believe my dad's biggest mistake was not leaving me in that corn field.

It Should Be Illegal To “Like” Your Own Comment On Facebook
I love people. Generally. I love people. Most of the time. One exception. People that "like" their own status updates on Facebook. Of all the injustices in the world, this is one that really bothers me and I'm not sure why. And, it appears there are nearly 15,000 other people who agree. The "I hate People Who Like Their Own Status Updates" group on Facebook.
My Best Christmas Presents Ever
I know that as an adult I'm now supposed to say that Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Christ and being friendly with my fellow human beings. That's all fine and dandy, but you know and I know that when you're a kid it's all about the materialistic gifts we want. You can deny it, but I think we both know that's true.
Show Your Support For A Special Bowling Green Girl
I don't normally send out Christmas cards. Call me Scrooge if you want, but I'm just not a Christmas card kind of guy. But, I will be making an exception this year. A prayer group I am a part of in Hannibal made me aware of a young girl in Bowling Green that is fighting brain and spinal cancer. Her name is Abbi Lucas. And, if I get my way, we'll have so many "get well" and "Christma
I Live On A Digital Umbilical Cord
I like to think of myself as the strong, independent alpha male. You know...the kind of man who could easily survive thirty days in the wilderness even if equipped only with a spork. I was reminded last week (as if my mirror everyday wasn't enough proof) how wrong that idea is. Truth is, I live on a digital umbilical cord.
New Pic Of Our Load The Lobby Campaign Progress

We have been updating you with pictures of our lobby as kind folks have dropped new or gently used toys by and the pic you see is what our lobby looks like as of this morning.
