Born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri...I stopped maturing at age 12 and I have the radio show to prove it. Authorities found me at age 19 in a corner talking to myself...so they decided to give me a pair of headphones, a microphone and a brand new room (with padded walls) for me to talk to myself in...and they called it radio...and that brings us to today. I have been torturing (I mean "entertaining") listeners for 29 years and have been fortunate to win many Missouri Broadcaster awards along the way...which just proves how much everyone else sucks. Truth is I have the best radio listeners in the world who treat me better than any human being could possibly deserve. And that special relationship we have will continue...at least until K-Mart starts hiring again.
I Am Part of an Exclusive Driving Club in The Tri-States
It's no secret that I'm not really the country club type. No offense intended at those who are, but I'm the last guy most folks want in their "exclusive club". I am however a member of a club that most people probably don't think about much. The club is called &…

I Am Tired and It’s Not Even Christmas Yet
Is it nap time yet? No?!? Dang. Cause I'm tired and I'm sure you are too. The holiday season seems like it goes a hundred miles an hour while my body is only capable of 45 mph. (on a good day) Maybe we just all need to Jazzercise.

Pigs Fear Me
I love animals. Grew up with many dogs and have never gone hunting. (I was always afraid the deer would steal my gun and come after me) But, thanks to my new diet routine, animals fear me. Welcome to the world of low-carb food.
There Are No Words For What Happened Today
I have spent nearly thirty years in the business of words. That's what radio is for the most part. Words broken up by (hopefully) a lot of songs. But, after hearing of the horrific school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut today, there are no words. I don't know who is responsible and …

Thanks again for all you do for us and others around…
Happy Birthday To My Son, Adam
My son, Adam, turns twelve today. Adam is in a unique position in our family. He is a "middle" child...as in Jan Brady...if Jan were a boy. And, if we were the Brady Bunch. He is also a very unique boy (and I mean that in a good way).
What’s With All The Loud Booms?
I have been asked multiple times today on Facebook if I heard the loud boom this morning. The answer is no I didn't because I'm basically deaf. But I think I'm the only one that didn't. I saw reruns of Big Bang Theory last night (BAZINGA!) , but that's as close as I ca…
