My superhero origin story takes place in Upper Michigan. It’s where I spent a good chunk of my childhood, and returned there for college and the early days of my radio career, which I’ve now been doing since 2007. I’ve been a part time film critic since college, which I fell into after attending the Oscars. It also helped that I was majoring in Broadcasting, with dual minors in Journalism and Film Studies at the time. I’m a certified bartender, wedding officiant and forklift operator. I can’t imagine a scenario where all 3 would be useful at the same time, but you never know. And I still have my Junior Power Ranger certificate from when I was a kid. So if giant monsters attack the town and we’re all saved by an equally giant robot dinosaur… you’re welcome.
