At This Point, Applebee’s Is Daring Us To Not Drink

It started innocently enough in October with Dollaritas, or cheap watered down Margaritas. Then in December they gave us Dollar-LITs. Then came the two dollar Blue Moons, last month's DOLLARMAMA's, and now we're getting Two Dollar Vodka Lemonades!

In a move apparently designed to target spring break partiers with a simple mix of lemonade and vodka, that's literally all it is. Lemonade and vodka. Nothing fancy. Just the two ingredients. Well... the vodka is top shelf Absolut Vodka, hence the two dollar price tag.

But they aren't even tossing in Iced Tea to gives DOLLER-PALMERS! OH MY GOD! WHY DIDN'T THEY THINK OF THAT!? THAT'S PERFECT! YOU DONE MESSED UP APPLEBEE'S! YOU DUMB IDIOTS!

Granted, I think instead of doing a vodka drink, they should have honored St. Patrick's Day with a whiskey drink. Or at least a lager drink. A vodka drink, especially a vodka lemonade, would have been really good in the summer. It's crisp, it's refreshing, it's lemony fresh. That's a summer drink! I mean, they already did two dollar beers, why not a two dollar Guinness for St. Patrick's Day? Obvious, yes. But worth it.
