Luther Manor in Hannibal celebrates its 40th anniversary Saturday starting at 6 p.m. with a carnival, games, music and fireworks.

Hannibal Parks & Rec hosts a HORSE tournament at the Norfolk & Southern Multi-Sports Complex Saturday, with registration at 8:30 and play beginning at 9:30 a.m.

The Northeast MO Genealogical Society meets at the Louisiana Public Library Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Flower Children team of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Marion County team hosts a sand volleyball tournament and a Texas Hold ‘Em tournament in Palmyra Saturday. Volleyball at 9 a.m. in Flower City Park, poker at 1 p.m. in the Sesqui Building.

The NEMO Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake host a JAKES event at the Frank Russell Recreation Area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
