UPDATE: The variety show scheduled for June 18 has been canceled due to "unforeseen TV production scheduling conflicts". The public appearance on June 18 (12:00 to 2:00 pm and 3:00 to 5:00 pm) at the Quincy Pickers Market is still going on as planned.

ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED ON MAY 6:

One of the stars of the hit History show American Pickers has...ahem..."picked" Quincy for the debut of an exciting new stage production.

Danielle Colby, known to "Pickers" fans as "The Queen of Rust", has announced that in addition to her upcoming appearance at the Quincy Pickers Market on June 18, she will be producing a "PG-13 Burlesque and Variety Show". Friends from around the country will be a part of the production.

Though Danielle has several appearances lined up, this one-night-only show is only scheduled for her Quincy appearance.

The performance is scheduled for the evening of June 18 at the Quincy Community Theatre (inside the Oakley Lindsay Center).

Times and ticket information will be announced in the days to come.

In addition to her role with American Pickers (and the Antique Archaeology business on which the show is based), Colby is a history buff and accomplished filmmaker. Slated to come out later this year, Colby's latest project is a documentary on the legendary burlesque performer "Tempest Storm".
