A New Bar Is Opening In Quincy…But We Have No Idea Where

Here's what we know: There IS a new bar coming to Quincy and it'll be somewhere in the historic downtown district. But the exact location is still a mystery.

According to their Facebook page, The Red Light District Bar & Grill will be opening this September, but they're keeping their location a secret (for now anyway). Each day leading up to their opening day, The Red Light District Bar & Grill will give out a single clue as to their actual site.

This is going to be a fun game.

According to the clues that have already been announced, the location is somewhere in Quincy’s Historic District in a building that was built in 1892. I have some idea of where I think this will be, but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.

The bar & grill has a pretty interesting backstory as well. The owner remembers stories from his great-grandfather about Quincy’s Red Light District, and even the Herald Whig wrote an article about in a few years ago.

From the logo of The Red Light District Bar & Grill, I'm thinking this might be some kind of 1920s type bar & grill. This could be one of Quincy’s most historic “new” businesses and I can’t wait to see what they will have to offer.
