How Many Country Stars Have Headlined the Adams County Fair?

County fairs have been making entertainment announcements left and right over the past few weeks. The Adams County Fair is bringing Eric Paslay and Craig Wayne Boyd to Mendon on August 1. The Pike County Fair in Bowling Green has also announced their 2015 lineup. A couple weeks ago I found a really neat list that detailed all of the country artists that have headlined the Tri-State Rodeo in Ft. Madison. The list went all the way back to 1949! I thought it would be fun if we could compile something similar for the Adams County Fair, which has seen a number of country's biggest names over the years.

I know for certain that Kenny Chesney was at the fair in the late 90s. I was on stage throwing t-shirts as Doc Holliday introduced him. Terri Clark's been to the Adams County Fair. Chris Cagle shot a YouTube video from the fair stage. Craig Morgan and Joe Nichols were the most recent acts to appear during the fair in Mendon.

Several concerts have been held at the Adams County Fairgrounds that weren't technically "fair" concerts. Tracy Lawerence was there a couple summers ago. Emerson Drive played last year. Wasn't Clint Black's concert at the fairgrounds? I think that was around 1998 or 1999.

Those are all the acts that I could think of, but there are, of course, plenty of other names that I'm missing. How many country stars do you remember seeing at the Adams County Fair? Let's see how many we can name! We might not be able to go all the way back to 1949, but collectively we can all probably come up with a pretty comprehensive list.
