Last year the first Safe Halloween for Kids event was held at the Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center in Quincy. It was a resounding success, with over 2,000 visitors! Area kids are invited to the second Safe Halloween for Kids, which will return to the Eagle's Nest on Thursday, October 30.

Safe Halloween for Kids, presented by Derek Zahm State Farm Insurance, is a free and safe trick-or-treating alternative. Kids will be allowed to trick-or-treat a designated floor of the Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center. Local businesses will be decorating rooms and passing out candy, coupons, and Halloween trinkets to children. There will also be giveaways, train rides, Pepsi refreshments and games! The first 500 kids that arrive will receive a free Halloween treat bag, courtesy of Pop's Pizza.

Children with special needs are invited to enter the North Entrance at the Eagle's Nest Hotel and Conference Center between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Doors will open to general public from 6 - 8:30.

Safe Halloween for Kids is presented by Derek Zahm State Farm Insurance, Refreshment Services Pepsi, Sam's Club and these local businesses: Pop's Pizza, Misty Hills Photography, Above and Beyond Tattoo, Sleep Tight, Texas Roadhouse, Adjustin Chiropractic and Mike's Jewelry and Loan.
