30 years of the Golden Eagle Chill Cookoff will be celebrated on February 16 in Hannibal. This is gonna be huge!

I have been lucky to be the emcee for this throughout the years and it is always fun. And through the years, Golden Eagle has given back to the community. Many local projects have been helped through the efforts of the people at Golden Eagle Distributing.

Who will have the best local chili, this year? Find out on Saturday .You will see someone you know and meet new and exciting people at the same time. Doors will open at 11 a.m. Admission is $5 per person.

From the 30th Annual Chili Cookoff Facebook page

A cup and spoon will be given to each participant to sample the various chilies. This is an adults-only event; no one under age 21 will be admitted. A costume contest will be held throughout the day and this years theme is Peace, Love and Chili! There will be games throughout the day including a balloon drop and a beer pong tournament. For more information contact Cathie Whelan at Golden Eagle 573-221-0908 or Shana Noah 816-351-1794.
